About the role
Responsibilities
- Promote the development and implementation of safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Conduct safety, environmental, and quality audits and inspections across project sites
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management
- Assist with the education and training of staff regarding safety, environmental, and quality systems
- Prepare work method statements, project plans, and inspection and test plans
- Develop and implement system changes and continuous improvements
Requirements
- Qualification in Work Health and Safety (minimum Cert IV)
- Prior experience within the construction industry
- Current knowledge of safety legislation, standards, and industry requirements
- Training and assessment qualification (desirable)
- Ability to travel to various sites in Victoria, including occasional overnight trips
