Sachbearbeiter Privatliquidation (GOÄ/GOZ)

Responsibilities

• Preparation and compilation of all documents for private billing
• Checking treatment documentation for completeness and billing eligibility
• Requesting missing information from treating physicians and departments
• Creating and maintaining billing-relevant documentation
• Transmitting documents to the external billing service provider
• Processing and clarifying inquiries from the billing service provider
• Tracking open processes and ensuring timely processing
• Supporting the optimization of processes in the private billing area
• Communicating with internal and external contacts

Requirements

• Completed training as a Medical Assistant (MFA) or comparable qualification in healthcare
• Several years of professional experience in private billing
• Good knowledge of GOÄ and/or GOZ fee schedules
• Understanding of medical documentation and billing processes
• Careful, structured, and independent working style
• Proficient use of MS Office applications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High service orientation and discretion with sensitive data
