S-PREP Preceptor

Responsibilities

• Deliver course instruction in math, science, or STEM subjects using provided syllabi
• Prepare course descriptions, goals, and objectives in alignment with program blueprints
• Design engaging class activities and administer quizzes, exams, or projects
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback for bi-annual evaluations
• Track student attendance and participation
• Support the preparation of program sessions, special events, and workshops
• Chaperone field trips, college tours, and conferences as needed
• Complete administrative and clerical duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications

• Education or training in science or mathematics
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Availability during the 2026 Summer Program
