Rx-Lab Coating Lead

Responsibilities

• Maintain company Health and Safety standards including PPE
• Lead the training of all new Coating Operator associates
• Support the Rx-Lab production team in driving flawless execution of the Coating department
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOP) to maximize productivity
• Communicate clear priorities and productivity goals to Coating Department Associates
• Provide management with productivity updates and feedback on Associate performance
• Troubleshoot production errors and provide constructive feedback to the team
• Coordinate daily prioritization of production orders within the Coating Department
• Receive and put away replenishment inventory in a timely manner
• Analyze daily production metrics and implement improvements

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a production environment leading teams
• High School Diploma
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding expectations
• Practical experience with Google Suite
• Basic computer knowledge
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site full time in a fast-paced light manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Schneider Optical Machinery
• Experience with DVI (Digital Vision Inc) or LMS (Lab Management System)
• Experience providing operational training to others
