About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build deep technical and executive relationships with strategic customers to ensure paid support programs serve current and future workloads.
  • Own the regional sales cycle for paid support programs, partnering with Sales VPs and Solutions Engineering to position programs based on workload profiles.
  • Lead the regional Designated Support Engineer (DSE) team, focusing on proactive, advisory-led support models including architectural reviews and risk assessments.
  • Accountable for regional revenue targets, customer satisfaction, retention, and successful post-sales delivery.
  • Drive the Go-to-Market motion for paid support, including attach to net-new deals and expansion within the existing customer base.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a multi-layered organization of DSEs and front-line managers.
  • Implement AI-native engagement models to anticipate workload risk and scale proactive advisory.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in enterprise customer-facing roles (leading premium support/technical advisory OR senior field sales of technical solutions).
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing multi-layered organizations in high-growth SaaS or cloud environments.
  • Proven track record of owning revenue targets tied to attach, expansion, or renewal.
  • Deep knowledge of data warehousing, data management, analytics, AI, or cloud computing.
  • Experience leading teams through organizational transformations (e.g., reactive to proactive models).
  • Executive-level communication skills with experience presenting to C-level audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI-native or AI-augmented approaches in customer engagements.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience scaling designated engineer, solutions architect, or premium support programs at a cloud data platform or hyperscaler.
  • Internal Snowflake field experience (Solutions Engineering or Solutions Architect) with strong regional sales relationships.
  • Strong program, project, and process management skills.
