Rust Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build latency-sensitive Rust services handling high-frequency data and decisioning
• Implement robust, testable financial logic with strict correctness guarantees
• Build and maintain streaming pipelines including real-time inputs, event processing, and feedback loops
• Optimize performance across CPU, memory, and network using profiling and benchmarking
• Collaborate on API design, data models, and system architecture

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience with Rust, Docker, AWS, and Terraform
• Strong Rust proficiency, including ownership, lifetimes, concurrency, async, and error handling
• Experience building high-performance services in production
• Experience with low-latency systems and systems thinking (latency, throughput, backpressure)
• Strong analytical thinking and excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using coding agents or AI-assisted development tools
• Experience with domain-driven design, distributed architectures, or microservices
• Background in financial services and exposure to compliance or audit requirements
