Rust Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of the internet lending system, including modules for loan origination, risk decisioning, and transaction processing
• Write clean, idiomatic code and maintain high quality through comprehensive unit and integration testing
• Contribute to Domain-Driven Design modeling and microservices architecture discussions
• Utilize AI coding tools (such as Claude Code) for code generation, refactoring, and troubleshooting within an AI-driven workflow
• Perform system performance tuning to resolve memory safety issues, concurrency races, and database bottlenecks
• Collaborate with an international, multicultural team through code reviews and technical discussions in English

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Proficiency in at least one systems or high-performance language (Rust, Go, Java, or C++)
• Strong understanding of concurrency, memory management, and asynchronous programming
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles
• Solid working knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL, including efficient SQL querying and indexing
• Working proficiency in English for technical discussions and asynchronous communication
• An AI engineering mindset with the ability to integrate AI coding tools into daily workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior professional experience with Rust, including familiarity with Tokio, Serde, and SQLx
• Hands-on experience with Redis, Kafka, or other messaging middleware
• Background in Fintech or core lending system development
• Familiarity with cloud-native technology stacks such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, or GCP
• Experience using AI pair-programming tools like Cursor or Copilot
