Rust Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of the internet lending system, including modules for loan origination, risk decisioning, and transaction processing.
• Write clean, idiomatic code and maintain high quality through comprehensive unit and integration testing.
• Contribute to Domain-Driven Design modeling and microservices architecture discussions.
• Utilize AI coding tools (such as Claude Code) for code generation, refactoring, and troubleshooting within an AI-driven workflow.
• Perform system performance tuning to resolve memory safety issues, concurrency races, and database bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with an international, multicultural team through code reviews and technical discussions in English.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of backend development experience with proficiency in Rust, Go, Java, or C++.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, memory management, and asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and distributed systems.
• Solid working knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL, including efficient SQL querying and indexing.
• Proficiency in English for technical discussions and asynchronous written communication.
• An AI engineering mindset with the ability to integrate AI coding tools into daily workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior professional experience with Rust, including familiarity with Tokio, Serde, and SQLx.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, Kafka, or other messaging middleware.
• Background in Fintech or core lending system development.
• Familiarity with cloud-native stacks such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience using AI pair-programming tools like Cursor or Copilot.
