EveryMatrix is a leading B2B SaaS provider delivering iGaming software, content and services. We provide casino, sports betting, platform and payments, and affiliate management to 200 customers worldwide with a team of over 1400 passionate individuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance a high-performance API Gateway built in Rust
• Implement and optimize request routing logic across multiple backend services
• Develop and maintain core gateway features, including authentication, circuit breaking, and dynamic routing
• Improve system reliability, latency, and scalability
• Collaborate with backend service teams to integrate new APIs and services
• Debug production issues and optimize system performance
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Rust code
• Participate in system design and technical discussions

Requirements

• 2–3 years of professional Rust development experience
• Hands-on experience with Axum and Tokio ecosystem
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and networking fundamentals
• Experience building back-end infrastructure, API gateways, reverse proxies, or microservices
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, API Keys)
• Understanding of load balancing, circuit breaking, and fault tolerance patterns
• Experience working with distributed systems and service-to-service communication
• Familiarity with Linux environments and containerized deployments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with service mesh or API gateway tools (e.g., Envoy, NGINX, Kong)
• Knowledge of gRPC or Protobuf
• Experience in high-throughput, low-latency systems
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes)
