Rural Reporter

Responsibilities

• Create engaging rural and primary industry news and features across radio, digital, TV, and social media
• Prepare and present stories for the Rural Report, Country Hour, and other key programs including the 7pm bulletin
• Research and write compelling stories for Web and App to engage farming, industry, and consumer audiences
• Contribute new ideas to increase audience reach and engagement across North West Victoria

Requirements

• Accomplished editorial skills with a creative approach to story construction and delivery
• Strong understanding of the issues facing agricultural and primary industries
• Experience in live presentation and broadcast
• Ability to travel to remote locations to source authentic stories
• Passion for connecting with diverse communities and representing the Australian landscape
