About the role
Responsibilities
- Sell designated product lines to a portfolio of trade customers, veterinary practices, and farmers in Southwest England.
- Develop and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships through high-quality service and interaction.
- Create and execute account plans in collaboration with Vet Ops and species leads to drive sales growth and market share.
- Manage territory opportunities by analyzing sales data and interpreting market trends.
- Execute regular call activity in accordance with agreed KPIs, ensuring all appointments and plans are recorded in the CRM.
- Deliver relevant marketing messages and product information using the Solution Selling model.
- Negotiate win-win outcomes that address the specific needs of both the account holder and the end customer.
- Maintain high standards of business conduct, including compliance with Pharmacovigilance and local codes of practice.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a commercial industry.
- Experience in a sales role, specifically field sales or B2B (business-to-business) selling.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse customers.
- Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel frequently within the territory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
