RTR Accountant

Responsibilities

• Deliver month-end activities including journal postings, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
• Support cash flow forecasting and reporting through analysis of movements and trends
• Produce RTR reports to meet internal and external reporting requirements
• Respond to queries and provide financial insights to support decision-making
• Identify and support process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy across Finance

Requirements

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or currently progressing towards qualification
• Sound understanding of month-end close processes and balance sheet accounting principles
• Experience in reconciliations with the ability to investigate and resolve variances
• Strong analytical and Excel skills with high attention to detail
• Collaborative communicator able to build effective working relationships across teams
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous learning and process improvement
