About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver month-end activities including journal postings, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
- Support cash flow forecasting and reporting through analysis of movements and trends
- Produce RTR reports to meet internal and external reporting requirements
- Respond to queries and provide financial insights to support decision-making
- Identify and support process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy across Finance
Requirements
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or currently progressing towards qualification
- Sound understanding of month-end close processes and balance sheet accounting principles
- Experience in reconciliations with the ability to investigate and resolve variances
- Strong analytical and Excel skills with high attention to detail
- Collaborative communicator able to build effective working relationships across teams
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous learning and process improvement
