RTR Accountant

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, and provisions
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, resolving reconciling items with clarity and pace
• Support cash flow forecasting and reporting, providing clear analysis of movements
• Produce RTR reporting to meet internal and external requirements
• Respond to ad-hoc queries with well-considered analysis, prioritizing effectively during close cycles
• Identify and support improvements to processes, controls, and documentation in partnership with Finance and BBS colleagues

Requirements

• Part-qualified accountant (studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or a willingness to begin studies)
• Sound understanding of month-end close and balance sheet accounting principles
• Experience preparing reconciliations and supporting audit processes
• Proficiency in Excel with the ability to work confidently with data and explain movements clearly
• Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment
