About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the work management process by developing schedules and job plans to facilitate efficient and safe work execution.
  • Manage resources and supply needs for power plant facilities to ensure barrier-free work.
  • Perform core activities including creating weekly schedules, determining GL accounting for work orders, and conducting inventory searches.
  • Research parts using technical drawings and manuals, manage equipment repair processes, and complete purchase requests.
  • Coordinate and communicate during the preparation and execution phases of work, monitoring progress and capturing lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Direct and review the activities of internal staff or contractors to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree and 3 years of related experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of related experience.
  • Ability to become respirator qualified.
  • Basic knowledge of power plant operations and the Work Management process.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling tools and company computer systems used in work management.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Maximo (Work Management System) and Plant Information (PI) programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Excel, and Word.
  • At least 5 years of experience in plant operations, maintenance, or work management.
  • Experience in contract management or project management.
  • Ability to interpret equipment diagrams, drawings, and schematics.
  • Financial and accounting skills, including the ability to analyze financial data.
