ROW Specialist

We collaborate closely with developers and operators of oil and gas pipelines and electric transmission systems, supporting both extensive linear projects and site-specific developments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the acquisition of ROW for linear and site-specific acquisition projects
• Request, support preparation of, and document survey permission from owners and tenants
• Identify necessary agency/entity permits and exhibits required for negotiations
• Prepare and file permit applications required by affected agencies/entities
• Assist in establishing project routes, estimating ROW costs, and establishing acquisition timelines
• Document off ROW damages incurred during construction and manage resolutions
• Process all requests for encroachment from third parties on ROW
• Coordinate activities of individuals during land, ROW, or permit acquisitions

Requirements

• One to three years of acquisition and negotiation experience, preferably in transmission easement acquisitions (oil, gas, or electricity)
• Ability to read and comprehend legal documents such as ground leases, easements, deeds, and title policies
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record
• Ability to travel up to 90%
• Ability to work non-standard hours to accommodate landowner schedules
• Strong customer focus and communication skills
