Rover Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular, randomized foot and vehicle patrols of facilities, fences, gates, and parking areas
• Verify credentials and identify visitors, vendors, and employees at entry points
• Respond immediately and professionally to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity
• Write detailed daily activity, incident, and maintenance reports
• Provide professional assistance, directions, and safety guidance to employees and guests
• Ensure adherence to site-specific policies and standard operating procedures

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Non-Commissioned security license through the state of Texas
• Previous security experience
• Previous dispatch experience
• Experience with monitoring, surveillance, and security equipment
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
