ROV Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe and effective operation of Saab Seaeye and Kystdesign ROV systems during offshore work phases
• Lead and supervise the ROV team to ensure high standards of safety and technical quality
• Act as the primary offshore point of contact for ROV-related activities with vessel leadership and clients
• Ensure compliance with QHSE policies, project procedures, and IMCA guidelines
• Conduct pre-dive checks, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
• Monitor ROV system performance and coordinate troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain accurate operational documentation including dive logs and technical reports

Requirements

• Minimum 540 days offshore in ROV with demonstrable piloting hours on IMCA ROV Logbook
• Experience in fault-finding and team leadership
• Valid IMCA Company Member Competence Certificate or completed IMCA Competence Portfolio (R02)
• Technical qualification in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or hydraulic disciplines
• OPITO approved BOSIET with CA-EBS, MIST, and OEUK Medical
• Proven ability to lead teams and communicate under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Saab Seaeye and/or Kystdesign systems
• Experience in construction, decommissioning, IRM, or survey scopes in renewables or oil & gas
• Exposure to simulator-based training or Remote Operations Centers (ROCs)
• Experience in incident investigations or technical reviews
• Approved company Competence Assessor status
