About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate transportation routes and schedules for nonprofit organizations
  • Dispatch drivers and provide clear instructions, routing changes, and road condition updates
  • Maintain accurate records of driver logs, trip details, and passenger information
  • Monitor transportation operations to identify and mitigate delays or disruptions
  • Manage vendors including routing and scheduling software
  • Perform accurate data entry and tracking in systems such as Novis and ADP
  • Conduct evaluations to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
  • Support customer service by covering Client Service Representative duties when needed

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in logistics, transportation management, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in routing and scheduling
  • Proficiency in transportation management software and tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Zoom, and Basecamp
  • Ability to pass Department of Transportation FTA required drug screening
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, or weekends
