Route Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to site drivers and the Distribution/Transportation Department
• Conduct new hire training including at least two ride-alongs per week
• Perform audits and training on the road for at least 50% of the work schedule
• Promote company safety programs and identify/eliminate risks
• Assist with motor vehicle accident reports, injury reporting, and investigations
• Monitor route times and provide updates to internal and external customers
• Assist in managing company fleet needs and equipment repairs
• Maintain DOT, HOS, and FMCSA compliance
• Function as a backup driver for routes in the event of call-outs
• Support SQF by maintaining food safety, quality, and sanitary work areas

Requirements

• CDL-A required
• Experience in route structuring, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Proven knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and HOS regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Excellent people, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supervising commercial drivers
