About the role
Responsibilities
- Safely upload, deliver, and download hardgoods orders and compressed gas cylinders to customers
- Return empty cylinders to the plant for refilling
- Maintain accurate load manifests and vehicle documentation, ensuring counts balance with shipping documents
- Establish and maintain positive customer relations through professional in-person communication
- Monitor customer inventory levels to minimize or eliminate the need for emergency deliveries
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Strictly observe all company and industry safety rules
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of driving experience
- Valid CDL Class A or B with HAZMAT endorsement
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Ability to meet all physical qualification standards imposed by the DOT
- Physical ability to stand and walk on concrete for extended periods and handle cylinders weighing up to 600 lbs
- Flexibility to work overtime as required
