Route Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles while complying with company, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain working knowledge of assigned delivery route and product handling requirements
• Deliver all products ordered in a timely manner throughout the coverage area
• Keep accurate daily records of accounts and collected cash
• Maintain vehicle operation logs and report maintenance needs to the Distribution Supervisor
• Represent the company in a courteous, ethical, and professional manner
• Work cooperatively with managers, supervisors, and peers while operating independently

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current, valid CDL-A license
• Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Up-to-date medical card
• One year of driving experience or equivalent classroom qualification
• Ability to pass a DOT exam
• Neat, clean appearance
• Reading and writing proficiency in English
• Basic math skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
