Round Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve three healthy meals per day for approximately 75 individuals
• Follow recipes and guidelines provided by the Kitchen Manager
• Cook from scratch and manage workload efficiently
• Ensure food is stored and served according to health and safety standards
• Stock food supplies including fresh produce, dry goods, and pantry items
• Perform quality control on food leaving the kitchen
• Request inventory items to maintain necessary stock levels

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience cooking for large groups
• Experience using various kitchen equipment and supplies
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds repetitively
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to meet physical requirements including walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience preparing Latin American cuisine
• ServSafe certification
• CPR certification
• Fluency in Spanish
