About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of aircraft operations in a high-pressure, critical care transport environment
  • Fly in varying weather and environmental conditions to deliver emergency medical services
  • Follow all applicable company policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Transport Canada regulations
  • Assist with flight planning and aircraft preparation as required
  • Provide flight support at various bases across Ontario as demand arises
  • Maintain readiness for a 24/7 shift rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

  • Secondary school graduation and completion of a certified aviation school
  • Valid Air Transport Pilot’s Licence (ATPL) Helicopter issued by Transport Canada
  • Minimum of 2000 rotary-wing flight hours
  • Minimum of 500 PIC multi-engine hours
  • 2 years of experience in Instrument Flight Operations
  • Valid Group 4 Instrument Rating and Class 1 Medical
  • Valid Canadian Passport (or ability to work in Canada and travel to the USA)
  • Satisfactory criminal record search and up-to-date immunization records

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience flying multi-engine helicopters
  • Experience using Night Vision Goggles (NVG)
  • Previous experience flying for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or equivalent
