About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of aircraft operations in a high-pressure, critical care transport environment
- Fly in varying weather and environmental conditions to deliver emergency medical services
- Follow all applicable company policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Transport Canada regulations
- Assist with flight planning and aircraft preparation as required
- Provide flight support at various bases across Ontario as demand arises
- Maintain readiness for a 24/7 shift rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
- Secondary school graduation and completion of a certified aviation school
- Valid Air Transport Pilot’s Licence (ATPL) Helicopter issued by Transport Canada
- Minimum of 2000 rotary-wing flight hours
- Minimum of 500 PIC multi-engine hours
- 2 years of experience in Instrument Flight Operations
- Valid Group 4 Instrument Rating and Class 1 Medical
- Valid Canadian Passport (or ability to work in Canada and travel to the USA)
- Satisfactory criminal record search and up-to-date immunization records
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience flying multi-engine helicopters
- Experience using Night Vision Goggles (NVG)
- Previous experience flying for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or equivalent
