About the Company

Contilia offers an innovative, modular, and cross-location training concept for specialist doctors in Internal Medicine with a focus on Gastroenterology. The goal is to provide structured, practical, and cross-sector training to become an independent gastroenterologist.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 3-year structured rotation program across various clinics and medical care centers (MVZs)
• Complete a 12-month onboarding in a base clinic followed by six-month rotations
• Perform clinical and outpatient gastroenterological procedures
• Develop endoscopic skills including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, endosonography, ERCP, and capsule endoscopy
• Conduct sonography including Fibroscan
• Collaborate in specialized areas such as hepatology and liver clinics
• Participate in colorectal cancer centers and tumor conferences
• Provide long-term care for patients with chronic diseases (e.g., IBD)

Requirements

• Completed medical studies and medical license (Approbation)
• At least 3 years of experience in Internal Medicine (Common Trunk)
• Proficient in basic clinical skills and ward work
• Experience in abdominal sonography
• Willingness to rotate between locations in Essen and Mülheim
• Teamwork skills and strong interest in gastroenterology
