Rotating Mechanical Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections in accordance with approved Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and project specifications
• Conduct inspections on pressure vessels, piping systems, storage tanks, and static equipment
• Verify compliance with applicable codes and standards such as ASME, API, and Aramco standards
• Witness and review activities including welding, fabrication, NDT, hydrotesting, and installation
• Review and validate WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to quality and HSE requirements
• Identify non-conformities and support NCR issuance and close-out
• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, logs, and documentation
• Coordinate with client representatives, contractors, and internal teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering OR 2-year Industrial/Technical Diploma in Mechanical discipline
• Minimum 6 years of inspection experience for Engineering Degree holders
• Minimum 12 years of inspection experience for Diploma holders
• Mandatory Certifications: AWS Senior CWI or CSWIP 3.2
• Mandatory Certifications: API 570, API 510, and API 653
• Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection practices in oil & gas projects
• Experience with Saudi Aramco standards and approvals preferred
• Familiarity with EPC projects involving metallic and non-metallic systems
• Hands-on experience in NDT methods (VT, MT, PT, UT, RT)
