Rotating Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of manufacturing units at the Antwerp Refinery to ensure optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Collaborate closely with operators, maintenance teams, and engineering specialists to maintain operational safety
• Support the Antwerp Meerhout Polymers Plant (AMPP) by managing equipment operating at high gas pressures
• Identify, anticipate, and resolve potential technical issues within the production process
• Contribute to innovative solutions through cross-functional collaboration with diverse teams

Requirements

• Masters engineering degree (Civil or PhD) in a Mechanical or Machinery discipline
• Recent graduate or up to 10 years of professional experience
• Fluent in English (understanding, reading, writing, and speaking)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work proactively
• Effective leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence without formal authority

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus
