Rotating Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical specialist responsible for the quality of data sheets, specifications, and technical requisitions for rotating and packaged equipment.
• Manage selection, application, and preparation of technical documentation for various KBR technologies.
• Perform technical evaluations, supplier document reviews, and participate in inspection, testing, and commissioning.
• Provide field troubleshooting, post-erection inspections, and commissioning support as required.
• Prepare estimates for new proposals, including staffing and schedule estimations.
• Mentor and train new personnel and manage direct reports by establishing performance goals.
• Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with governmental regulations and corporate safety guidelines.

Requirements

• First-class graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10-12 years of professional experience in the selection and detailed engineering of pumps, compressors, steam and gas turbines, and packaged equipment.
• Extensive experience within the hydrocarbon downstream industry (refining, chemical, or coal gasification).
• Deep knowledge of industry standards including API, ISO, NEMA, ASME, IEEE, IEC, ALPEMA, and PIP.
• Proven experience in preparing technical requisitions and conducting supplier document reviews.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and external suppliers.
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
