Room Service Associate

Responsibilities

• Welcome new patients and introduce them to the room service program
• Distribute menus and meal trays to patients, staff, and visitors within established timeframes
• Assist patients with meal selections and offer appropriate substitutions
• Ensure menu information (name, room number, and diet order) matches patient records
• Distribute and collect meal trays, nourishments, and snacks on assigned floors
• Act as a liaison between patients, Clinical Dietitians, and Nursing personnel
• Respond to special requests and follow up on patient questions promptly
• Maintain necessary supplies and generate required meal service reports

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of hospitality experience in a hotel or food & beverage setting
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and understand detailed instructions
• Availability to work 37.5 hours per week, including working 3 weekends out of every month
