Room Attendant

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and allocated areas to Elysium presentation and hygiene standards
• Replenish guest amenities, supplies and in-room materials
• Complete scheduled and deep-cleaning tasks as directed
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storerooms, trolleys and equipment
• Use cleaning chemicals, linen and equipment safely and economically
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment or safety concerns promptly
• Follow procedures for lost property, guest confidentiality and security of keys
• Assist with guest requests, including turndown service and set-up of rollaway beds or cots
• Support housekeeping operations through public area cleaning and laundry duties

Requirements

• Warm and caring personality
• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset
• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and chemical handling preferred
• Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions
