Roof Membrane Installer

Responsibilities

• Install roof membrane systems including hot-air welded, mechanically fixed, and fully bonded systems.
• Perform roofing works on data centre modular units to ensure weather-tight and long-life finishes.
• Execute surface preparation including insulation boards, vapour barriers, edge details, and penetrations.
• Install trims, upstands, outlets, and detailing around services and interfaces.
• Read and work from technical drawings, specifications, and product data sheets.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety at all times.
• Travel to customer or installation sites as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience installing roofing membrane systems.
• Strong background in flat roofing, ideally within industrial or modular environments.
• Excellent knowledge of roofing details, welding techniques, and system build-ups.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and high attention to detail.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
• Willingness to travel to various sites for installation projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant installer certification.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.
• MEWP or Working at Heights certification.
• Previous experience working on data centres or mission-critical projects.
