Roman Catholic Priest

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral care and sacramental ministry to Roman Catholic patients
• Collaborate with the pastoral team
• Provide pastoral care to assigned units when on-call
• Participate in related departmental activities

Requirements

• Training and experience in hospital ministry and/or counseling
• Approved faculties to function as a priest from the Archdiocese of New York
• Maintain good standing in the Archdiocese of New York
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree
• Eligibility for certification as a Chaplain by the National Association of Catholic Chaplains within one year

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Certification by the National Association of Catholic Chaplains
