About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure product and service quality compliance according to customer and internal specifications for the Cairo Monorail O&M project.
  • Manage non-conformities by supporting the NCR team using problem-solving methodologies such as QRQC and 8D.
  • Participate in customer inspections and perform workstation audits based on Service Quality Assessment checklists.
  • Manage incoming inspections, including performing inspections according to the Incoming Control Plan and documenting results.
  • Deploy the Return of Experience Process to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Project Quality & Safety Manager to maintain compliance with Alstom Management Systems and Railway Safety documentation.
  • Follow up on Quality Objectives and contribute to Process FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis).

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical, or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of experience in an industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Ability to read technical drawings/specifications and familiarity with various test equipment.
  • Strong technical communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience within the railway industry.
  • Certification in quality engineering.
  • Experience with Special Processes.
