Rolling Stock Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on bobcats, shovels, and forklifts according to the maintenance plan
• Carry out repairs and extensive maintenance work independently
• Conduct structural inspections on rolling stock
• Document completed work and identify potential risks
• Analyze malfunctions and report findings and improvement opportunities
• Proactively participate in projects aimed at optimizing the Equipment Management department

Requirements

• MBO 3/4 technical diploma or equivalent level
• Demonstrable experience with port equipment or strong motivation to develop in this field
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive team player
• Flexible attitude and results-driven
• Driver's license B, E preferred
• Good command of Dutch language, spoken and written
• Willing to pursue relevant training and courses
