Roll Form Operator B

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust roll-forming equipment to contour, flatten, and straighten various materials including sheet stock, tubing, and extrusions
• Interpret work orders, engineering blueprints, prints, charts, and sketches to guide assignments
• Use precision measuring instruments and templates to ensure all parts meet quality specifications
• Perform manual tasks using various hand and power tools to complete assignments
• Select and secure appropriate rolls, dies, guide blocks, and accessories
• Monitor and apply lubricants, coolants, and air as required during operations
• Perform on-line computer work using CMES to complete job assignments
• Maintain equipment by checking fluid levels and coordinating with maintenance when necessary

Requirements

• Experience reading engineering blueprints and technical drawings
• 3+ years of experience using hand tools and/or hand-held power tools
• 3+ years of experience performing basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• 1+ years of experience working with precision measuring tools
• Ability to lift 35 to 40 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift
• Basic computer skills
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in metal forming or roll forming
