ROC Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate over 450 air separation facilities across the U.S. and Canada from a centralized control room.
• Respond to alarms, troubleshoot plant issues remotely, and resolve operational concerns in real time.
• Start up and shut down air separation equipment to meet product demand while maintaining efficiency and reliability.
• Analyze data from plant control systems to make informed decisions for safe and efficient operations.
• Manage internal and external communications, including phone calls, emails, and computer-based logbooks.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including flexibility for overtime and coverage as needed.

Requirements

• Technical training in control room operations.
• Experience in chemical processing, power generation, or a related field.
• An engineering-related degree.
• Strong computer skills to manage control room systems and data.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for on-site facility support and troubleshooting.
