Robotics System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) and drivers for various actuators and hardware modules
• Design and manage real-time sensor data pipelines for LiDAR, Depth Camera, and IMU
• Optimize robot systems and OS for mass production and resource efficiency
• Build automated testing frameworks for hardware-software integration
• Perform system performance analysis and troubleshooting at the kernel and driver levels

Requirements

• Experience in real-time sensor data processing (LiDAR, Camera, IMU)
• Proficiency in C/C++ for memory management and real-time control
• Strong understanding of Linux kernel and driver structures
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in English
• Proficiency in object-oriented design and architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience in embedded systems
• Experience with robot mass production and quality management
• Proficiency in Rust
• Experience with communication protocols like UART, CAN, Ethernet, and I2C
• Experience with ROS/ROS2 middleware
