Robotics Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build motion and trajectory planning for patterned, adaptive, and sensor-driven motions
• Develop kinematics, reachability, and motion planning for robotic manipulators
• Build real-time control and feedback loops including trajectory correction and visual servoing
• Extend robots to mobile platforms through localization, mapping, and navigation
• Own the driver layer connecting software to robot hardware and sensors
• Advance the stack using reinforcement learning, learned planners, and sim-to-real training

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent
• 2–4 years of robotics software experience in modern C++
• Hands-on experience with real-time robotics, motion control, or controls software
• Proficiency with multithreading, concurrency, and systems-level debugging
• Experience developing and operating software on Linux with Git
• Familiarity with TDD, unit testing, and CI/CD

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python
• Knowledge of learning-based methods or robot simulation (RL, imitation learning, sim-to-real)
• Experience with SLAM, navigation, or ROS
