Orchard Robotics is a Series A startup backed by top VCs like Quiet Capital, Shine Capital, and General Catalyst. We're securing America’s food supply by building the AI farmer that automates our nation’s farms through AI-powered camera systems and our FruitScope OS cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop robotics software for tractor-mounted, AI-powered camera systems, including advanced perception and localization algorithms
• Implement intelligent systems to interpret complex, real-world data from terabytes of raw image data
• Fuse sensor data such as stereo depth and GNSS to localize camera systems in farm environments
• Optimize code for fast edge computing performance using Python and C++
• Act as a generalist to support various parts of the software and hardware stack

Requirements

• 2+ years of real-world industry experience in robotics, perception, or localization
• Hands-on experience developing robotics software from the ground up
• Expertise in computer vision, stereo depth perception, pose estimation, object detection, multi-object tracking, or image processing
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with high ownership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying and optimizing robotics algorithms on embedded compute like NVIDIA Jetson
• Familiarity with fusing data from GNSS, IMU, depth, and other sensors
