Robotics Software Engineer, Intern

Responsibilities

• Develop robotics software required for next-generation robot operations
• Perform Gazebo simulations for testing next-generation robot platforms
• Analyze customer problems and devise solutions using robotics and software technologies

Requirements

• Degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in C++/Python development or equivalent proficiency
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and operating systems
• Experience performing robotics projects using ROS
• Experience developing in a Linux environment
• Business English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Holding or expected to graduate with a degree in a related field
• Experience in deep technical problem analysis and resolution
• Participation in robotics competitions or conferences
• Familiarity with Git-based code review processes
• Expertise in one or more of the following: ROS1/2, mobile robot kinematics/dynamics modeling, Navigation, Docking, Kalman/particle filtering, sensor fusion, non-linear state estimation, Path planning (A*, D*, RRT, RRT*, etc), Trajectory optimization, or Gazebo Simulation
