About the Company

Medra is building the foundational layers of a Physical AI Scientist platform, creating AI that can operate scientific instruments with human-level dexterity and analyze results to close the loop autonomously. Our team consists of mission-driven engineers from companies like Tesla, Amazon, SpaceX, and Neuralink.

Responsibilities

• Help build, test, maintain, and ship robotic systems
• Follow detailed work instructions and provide feedback to improve products and processes
• Maintain inventory of components and finished assemblies
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

• Strong mechanical intuition and hardware debugging/assembly skills
• Experience building, testing, and scaling hardware
• Proficiency with rapid prototyping technology
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience with CAD and PLM packages
• Knowledge of robotics, motion control, cameras, and force/torque sensors
• Experience with robot arm manipulators
• Experience working in a laboratory or research environment
