Robotics Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the field installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of TARQAN robots
• Analyze errors and alerts from robots in live operations and provide rapid on-site response
• Escalate complex technical issues to the Ankara Engineering team with detailed handoffs
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase robot uptime and reduce failure frequency
• Provide regular field feedback to the product development team to improve robot performance

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing machinery, automation systems, or industrial equipment
• Practical skills in both mechanical assembly/disassembly and electrical/electronic work (wiring, sensors, motor drivers)
• Background working in industrial environments such as factories or warehouses
• Experience performing root cause analysis using multimeters, HMI/PLC interfaces, and telemetry screens
• Specialized experience with AGV/AMR fleet management or robotic systems
• Intermediate English proficiency for technical documentation and communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of PLC/automation programming
• Experience with vertical transport or conveyor systems
