Robotics Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys and collect technical requirements before robot deployment
• Install, map, and commission AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) solutions at customer sites
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware technical issues
• Configure network settings and define operational scenarios
• Support basic integration with PLC, conveyors, automatic doors, and MES/API systems
• Collect system logs and collaborate with the engineering team for advanced troubleshooting
• Communicate directly with customers to support PoC and smooth operations

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or manufacturing equipment
• Experience in field troubleshooting and technical problem-solving
• Basic understanding of Linux environments and network protocols
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for long periods (1-3 months)

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and provide training in English
• Experience with AMR/AGV systems
• Knowledge of PLC/IO logic and industrial automation
• Hands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Experience in factory automation environments
• Experience in customer support or managing technical product partners
• Experience in data collection, analysis, and insight derivation for UX improvement
• Proficiency with tools like G Suite, Excel, JIRA, or Salesforce
