Robotics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, deployment, and support of smart robotic assistants for surface treatment applications
• Own robotic cell design end-to-end, collaborating with design and mechatronics teams
• Design and oversee fabrication of custom end-of-arm tooling and fixtures
• Configure GMR-AI to generate optimized tool paths and trajectories
• Rapidly prototype new inspection sensors, tools, and processes
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain control components including sensors and relays
• Travel to customer sites as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
• Experience programming 6DOF robots for surface finishing applications
• Familiarity with motion control systems and ROS or similar frameworks
• Basic programming knowledge in C++ or Python
• Experience with 3D solid modeling and 2D manufacturing drawings
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee for export control compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related engineering field
• Experience with sensor integration (vision, LiDAR, IMUs)
• Industry experience in manufacturing process development
