Robotics Customer Operations Intern

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Shopify operations including order flows, invoicing, refunds, and split shipments
• Build and maintain operational dashboards to track order and shipment performance
• Support outbound shipping end-to-end, including carrier requirements and fulfillment planning
• Resolve shipment issues by identifying root causes and documenting permanent fixes
• Run the returns and RMA process end-to-end, identifying gaps in automation and improving the customer experience
• Partner with the Repairs team to track turnaround times and prevent bottlenecks
• Manage customer tickets related to order management and shipping inquiries
• Audit and refine communication templates to ensure brand consistency and clarity

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, operations, supply chain, or a related field
• Technical capability with APIs, basic scripting, or building automations
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms
• Strong written communication skills for customer-facing and internal documentation
• Available to work weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a hardware or DTC company that ships physical products
• Previous experience with Shopify or ShipStation
