Robotics and Lab Automation Intern (Computer Vision)

Responsibilities

• Support research and development activities in image processing, machine learning, and machine vision algorithms for laboratory applications
• Assist in the design and construction of laboratory image processing and machine vision system platforms
• Perform project code testing and write technical documentation
• Execute other temporary tasks as required by the Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in mathematics, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python or C++ with a solid foundation in computer science and the ability to program independently
• Experience with OpenCV and machine learning applications in image processing
• Knowledge of image segmentation and object detection algorithms
• Fluency in both Chinese and English
• Availability to intern at least 4 days per week (long-term interns for 6+ months preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in chemical laboratories
• Experience working with image or vision-related hardware
