Robotic Welder

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate robotic weld cells
• Perform GMAW/MIG welding in accordance with AWS D1.1 standards
• Layout, fit, measure, and tack weldments prior to final welding
• Follow robotic weld documentation for setup and operation of welded parts
• Conduct routine daily maintenance to ensure equipment functionality
• Maintain a safe and organized work area in alignment with 5S standards
• Partner with Manufacturing and Design Engineering to support efficient designs
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies

Requirements

• Experience with GMAW/MIG welding required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret basic weld symbols on blueprints
• Proficiency using measuring tools such as tape measures, levels, and angle finders
• Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with robotic welding
• Experience performing arc air work
