Robotic Test Engineer II

About the Company

Humanoid is on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. Their flagship platform, HMND-01 Alpha, is currently running in real industrial pilots.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end test pipelines for software releases to ensure quality gates are met
• Run automated and manual regression suites and triage failures
• Contribute new tests to CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and GitHub Actions
• Design and run policy evaluations for learned behaviors in simulation and physical environments
• Track sim-to-real differences and feed findings back to the policy team
• Support the collection of end-to-end performance and reliability metrics
• Maintain dashboards highlighting pass/fail rates, latency, and performance trends

Requirements

• 3+ years in software test engineering or test automation
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
• Ability to read C++
• Working knowledge of ROS2 (topics, services, etc.)
• Comfort with Linux (Ubuntu), terminal, and shell scripting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotics simulators like Gazebo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, or Unity
• Exposure to Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches
• Basic electrical debugging skills (multimeter, oscilloscope)
• Awareness of safety-critical standards like IEC 61508 or ISO 26262
