Robotic Systems Integration Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the System Integration team by example, balancing customer value, cost, and engineering effort to deploy optimal solutions.
• Drive high-level architecture decisions regarding sensing technologies, actuators, control algorithms, calibration techniques, and firmware architecture.
• Research external products and emerging technologies to ensure Formlabs products utilize state-of-the-art sensing and control systems.
• Manage resource deployment across various programs, prioritize engineering assignments, and recruit top-tier engineering talent.
• Act as a hands-on contributor involved in the daily technical decisions and activities of the team.

Requirements

• Expertise in control algorithms, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems for complex, high-precision products.
• Proven experience leading and growing high-performance engineering teams.
• A successful history of developing and shipping products in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to balance technical performance with system complexity.
