Robotic Systems Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Integrate firmware and hardware subsystems into cohesive systems and manage prototypes through the integration process
• Partner with system architects to create and document visual descriptions of system inputs and outputs
• Establish interfaces between subsystems and define or refine control algorithms
• Design and implement electro-mechanical subsystems
• Manage system and subsystem level requirements and track changes
• Design, execute, and analyze test plans to validate system requirements
• Resolve complex system issues to improve performance or recommend corrective actions

Requirements

• Experience designing complex electro-mechanical systems
• Strong knowledge of motion control, sensors, and control algorithms
• Experience managing system and subsystem requirements
• Proficiency in hardware debugging and troubleshooting
• Scripting experience with Python, Labview, or Matlab

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with low-level embedded firmware (C++ preferred)
• Experience in data analysis and reporting
• Experience working with consumer electronics
