Robotic Systems Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Integrate firmware and hardware subsystems into cohesive systems, managing prototypes through the integration process.
• Partner with system architects to create and document visual descriptions of system inputs and outputs.
• Establish interfaces between subsystems and define or refine control algorithms.
• Design and implement electro-mechanical subsystems.
• Manage system and subsystem-level requirements and track changes.
• Design, execute, and analyze test plans to validate subsystem and entire system requirements.
• Resolve complex system issues to improve performance and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• Experience designing complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of motion control, sensors, and control algorithms.
• Proven experience managing system and subsystem requirements.
• Proficiency in hardware debugging and a passion for root-cause analysis.
• Scripting experience with Python, Labview, or Matlab.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with low-level embedded firmware (C++ preferred).
• Experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Background in consumer electronics development.
